Official Rules

Sweepstakes Dates: The Cruze Month Challenge (“Sweepstakes”) begins on 1/1/11 and ends on 2/15/11 (the “Promotion Period”).
Who May Enter: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut who are 18 years of age or older on the date of entry and have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Employees, officers, and directors of the Boston Area Chevrolet LMA, Hartford – New Haven Chevrolet Local Marketing Area, Inc., The Maine Chevrolet LMA, Providence Chevrolet Local Marketing Association, and Springfield Chevrolet Local Marketing Association (“Sponsors”), American Hole ‘n One (“Administrator”), R*Works, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Released Parties”), and the members of the immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling and child and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households of any of the above, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void outside Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut and where prohibited by law.
How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, visit any of the eighty-five (85) participating dealerships (listed below) and, using the computer provided at such dealership, complete the online entry according to the provided instructions, and submit as directed. All entries must be received by the close of business on 2/15/11 to be eligible
Limit one (1) entry per person for the entire Promotion Period. Additional entries from the same person or email address after the first entry received from such person or email address and entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Administrator and will not be acknowledged or returned.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, ADMINISTRATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) electronic transmissions or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, inaccurate, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected, undelivered, delayed or not received by the Released Parties or their respective agents for any reason, (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, (iii) failed or unavailable hardware, network, software or telephone transmissions, or causes that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, (iv) any other mechanical, technical, printing, typographical, human, or other errors or malfunctions relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the unavailability of any computer at a dealership, the announcement of the prize, the cancellation or postponement of any Cruze Party, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials, or (iv) any entries submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Official Rules; all such entries will be disqualified. Administrator reserves the right to cancel, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy or threaten the integrity of the Sweepstakes, in the opinion of the Administrator, or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem or inclement weather corrupts the administration, security, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes as determined by Administrator, in its sole discretion. In the event of early termination of the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof), the Administrator may, at its sole discretion, chose the potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for such dealership prior to the time/date of the act requiring such termination. In the event a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, an entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry, and such person will be required to meet the eligibility requirements of these Official Rules. "Authorized account holder" means the natural person who was assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Potential winner may be requested to provide proof to the Released Parties that they are the authorized account holder. Any damage made to the website will also be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of sending entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Administrator.
Grand Prize Winner Selection: A random drawing will be held on or about 6 PM EST on February 21, 2011 from among all eligible entries received. A total of one (1) potential winner will be selected. Potential winner must be present at his/her Cruze Party to be eligible. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be announced over the PA system at the applicable dealership and he/she must respond to such notification within five (5) minutes of notification. Failure to claim prize within designated timeframe will result in forfeiture of prize and, at Administrator’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected and Administrator will have no further obligations to disqualified winner. Potential winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release and a W-9 form within three (3) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Administrator is unable to contact potential winner within a reasonable time period or potential winner is otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected, at Administrator’s sole discretion.
Grand Prize (1): A 2011 Chevrolet Cruze with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) not to exceed $18,895 (options to be determined solely by Sponsors). Winner is solely responsible for any expenses in connection with the prize acceptance and use not expressly described herein as being awarded including, without limitation, the following: (i) all income, federal, state or local taxes; (ii) insurance, registration fees, delivery charges, dealer preparation fees and/or additional options, additions or equipment; and (iii) any additional expenses not described herein as being awarded. Grand Prize winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the actual value of the prize. Grand Prize winner must have a valid U.S. driver’s license issued in his/her state of residence and proof of insurance to take delivery, and the options, package, accessories, and all other prize details will be at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Grand Prize winner must take delivery of vehicle at a dealership near winner’s residence specified by Administrator. Total ARV of all Prizes: $18,895.
Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. In the event the winner is found to be in violation of any of these Official Rules, he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse the Administrator for the stated value of the prize if such violation is found after the prize has been used by winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsors and its designees to use winner’s name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade in any and all media now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity, without limitation or further compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. By participating, entrant further agrees to release and hold Released Parties harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize (including any injury or harm resulting from use of the vehicle), participation in the Sweepstakes or in any prize-related activities, or any travel or activity associated therewith and entrants assume all liability in connection therewith.
Winner’s Name: For the name of the winner (available after 2/28/10), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Cruze Month Challenge Winner Name, PO Box 2227, Buford, GA 30515-9227. Winner’s name will be available for six (6) months from the end date of the Sweepstakes
